ANDREA AND DAN . . . BODY LANGUAGE

Andrea and Dan are a fun and exciting couple. Adventurous and down to earth, and really open and up for anything . . . including requesting a boudoir session for the engagement shoot!

what a great idea. i haven’t shot anything like this in the past, so it was not only new to them, but to me as well.

well, we had lots of fun doing the session. on a cold early spring weeknight at the royal york hotel in toronto, canada . . . on daniel’s birthday to be precise, we just went with the flow and results are below . . .

these photos were taken before their excursion for a night on the town.

enjoy!

not bad at all! great job you two . . . you look fantastic!

looking forward to their upcoming wedding at steamwhistle.

AJ AND BRYAN . . . hot date in kensington market

i recently met aj and bryan as they are very soon tying the knot this coming spring at the Berkeley Church.

2 cool and hip urban cats, who have travelled the world and been together for a while, aj and bryan know the meaning of working hard and playing hard. they are both committed to their promising careers and most importantly they know the meaning of love and commitment. i got all this in the very short time that we met to discuss their big day!

here’s a snippet of their e-shoot in kensington market in toronto, canada. a stroll through the urban streets with all the textures, smells and sounds of toronto’s most unique neighbourhoods.

their wedding is going to rock and we are so excited to be there to capture it!

cheers and enjoy!

sunglass shopping

smoothie anyone?

i love this store!

bryan plays a guitar in a band and love’s paul’s boutique

time for a cup of joe

another one of bryan’s passions is skateboarding . . .

ha . . . we had so much fun with bryan doing some tricks with his board.

can’t wait for the wedding!

ED AND MOLLY’S MEXICAN MATRIMONY EXTRAVAGANZA . . . . a week to remember

phew, so where do i start?

our great friends and ed and molly, two cool, fast and moving, urban cats living in toronto persuaded their close friends and family to take a week off from their busy city lives and trek down to Peurto Morales, Mexico, just outside of Cancun to celebrate:

ed and molly’s mexican matrimony extravaganza!

100 people:  amazing and open family and friends . . . it truly was special.

well, i’m not going to lie to you . . . this is a long post . . . but it’s a brilliant one! and it not only covers the wedding celebration, but also the lead up to the big day with candids and eye candy from rick and mirza of wandering eye photography;-)

enjoy!

myself and my good buddy, rick; the photogs.

margarita vessels provided for all!

meet and greet

stevie blue

candid moments throughout the week

i couldn’t resist. disclaimer: the subject of this photograph was not a part of the wedding!

games day/pool party

wedding day!

great view for the big event

just love this composition

time to party!

and boy did we party. a shout out to Route 66 and late night cheeseburgers . . . good times!

although posted earlier, i thought that it would be appropriate to end this post with the fun that we had capturing ed and molly underwater, smooching and in love . . .

wow! what a week! what a celebration! from the very start of the week and meeting all the key players, the friends and family, to the end of the week and one of the most emotional and best wedding celebrations ever, it definitely exceeded our expectations.

thank you thank you thank you ed and molly for having us their to capture and epic event; your friends and families are brilliant and we were honoured to be a part of your special week long mexican matrimony extravaganza!

Congratulations, Ed & Molly!
The pictures look amazing and am very impressed with the photographer not just for the pictures but for the imagination behind many of the shots.
Ed, on a personal note, congratulations on marrying such a beautiful woman and I wish you nothing but the best in your life. I was married in Mexico too and I hope you have the same happiness that I have experienced since then. Maybe Mexico is the good luck charm and I am happy that we share that in common. I hope one day that you and I can meet up again and we can meet each other’s wife.
Molly – I hope to meet you someday soon and share my memories of Ed and the Middleton clan, who have always had a special place in my heart. If Ed chose you, then you must be someone very special.
Congratulation from myself and the rest of the Hayes family.

I feel so blessed to have been able to attend this wedding, it was truly an amazing experience, and even though it went quick, i will have those memories forever. Such a great time, such great people, such great pictures. Did i say epic? WANDERING EYE PHOTOGRAPHY KICKS ASS!

laura and cameron . . . we go together like batman and robin . . .

we were introduced to bride-to-be, laura through our good friend, Luis from Hair on the Avenue as we recently photographed his wedding. Well as soon as we met, it was as if we have been friends for years!

Having passion for many of the same things that Rachel and I cherish, such as food, wine and travel, working with these two was an absolute pleasure.

They are fun, quirky and simply in love . . . . in fact they “go together like batman and robin . . . ” seriously . . .

i couldn’t decide on just one ring shot, i had to show 4 . . . “robot love” has to be my fav!

a little champers with the boys!

what an incredible gift that cam had “taylor made” for his groomsmen: personalized golf bags!

young hipsters

laura and her girls were an absolute riot! rach had such a blast hanging and getting to know these girls

such a fun bridal party . . . toughing it out in the cold for some great photo opps

onto the Gardiner Museum for some more pics and party time

this actually happened . . . yes it did.  laura and cam are infamous for leading the party on the dancefloor. they did NOT disappoint on this day. what a party!

wow! what we can we say laura and cam  . . . we just LOVE you guys! we’re cut from the same cloth and we are so over the moon for you two . . .

we can’t wait to celebrate in person over some vino and for you to finally meet our little one.
